The tower's been built for years. It didn't have antennas until this fall. They finally ran fiber out to it and switched it on over the Christmas break. We went from having hardly any connection, to having a super fast 5G service. I measured these results from what used to be a completely dead spot in the far corner of the basement.
It was a nice surprise to have the tower finally activated and find out it as for our service too.
