The cups eventually work their way down the spike. My sting knot hole is starting to show and it's making my spike a little too long and messes with the balance (top pic). Andy told me about an old trick to wrap the spike with a layer of scotch tape and put it back together. In the lower left, you can see the line under the cups showing how much higher it sits now. It puts it back to the freshie feel. In the lower right, the jewels on the crown logo for New Lace Kendama are showing again. :)
