It's fun to learn new tricks and do it together. He and I are both pushing ourselves a bit by singing up for competition levels a little above our skills. He taught me this trick (one turn lighthouse trade spike) and I set a new personal best for getting it in 3 tries. He's lacing some tricks he never has before too. Fun times and memories.
