GOAT segment one
I was on the way to the start (blue dot, upper left corner. The green squares are the off-line maps I downloaded on the way. It starts in Ripley right at the Ohio river. Then basically whenever you have the option, turn onto the less traveled road haha and wind you way Northeast to (eventually) Cleveland and Lake Erie.

John and I are gonna hit the 1,000 miles this year in 100 miles chunks. Some single day trips. Some camping weekends along the way. The green rectangles are the downloaded maps that give you an idea of the path the route follows. “Coast” to “coast” of Ohio, hahahaha.

That time of year again
I’m practicing up for our upcoming Kendama competition in Detroit. I can do all the tricks in my division this year. I’m currently doing three of each per session. Trying to get to the point where I can do three in a row first try. Two out of ten down, eight to go.
Julie and I visited the bird farm

I miss the Far Side… 🤪

It was really cool to be able to see the opposite side and the details in their flyby pics. You don’t really think about the Moon’s features that much until you see a different view from our typical one and realize it looks so different.
Printing Milwaukee fixes for Andy
Julie was printing some replacement latches for Andy’s Packout stuff recently. It worked pretty well. I added a webcam, so we can see the progress remotely.

Photo scavenger hunt!
Cheyenne put together a fun little game at my mom’s during our Easter lunch gathering. We had to find where she’d gathered pictures of items from around the house. First one back with a pic of it wins. She had ten or so. We all enjoyed racing around like crazy people. I think there was running, shoving, and vaulting involved. 🤪
Off-roading at my mom’s house :)
Chris and Larry brought their RC trucks to Easter and we enjoyed finding obstacles. I did this same thing on a tree in my front yard with my Jeep 🤪
They’re surprisingly fun, capable and affordable. Chris 3D printed his to look like Matt’s World’s Largest Off-road Wrecker!
Before I was born…
It was cool to run across this newspaper while Artemis was in space, trying again :) In the bottom pic, you can see the view of earth from space during their latest journey.

My watch is rage baiting me…
Spoiler alert… She won anyway. She’s become quite the workout buddy these days! Running me into the ground mostly. 🤪 We’re keeping each other motivated.
Anniversary bouquet
I found this really nice bouquet for Julie and brought it home for our anniversary, She does a nice job of arranging them too❣️ It even included a succulent that she was able to transfer to the pot of them my mom gave us. Pretty and fun. I really treasure all the years with my wife, my girl, my friend! Thanks for putting up with me so many decades!
I got caught in a “rain storm”
An unepxted squal popped up while I was running errands. No worries, the seat covers allow my to just wipe them off and roll. A day or two later, I left the top off (by mistake) when I knew it was going to rain. I ended up with half an inch of water in the cup holders, etc. I dried things off and hit the road again. All good. 🤪
My grandma would have enjoyed the violets
We have lots of them growing all over the yard in multiple color combos :)

I really enjoy the beauty of God’s creation I enjoy along the way. Just a simple trip through the woods, but I appreciate it each time. It doesn’t get old. You might get bored of it though? 🤪
