First, for $50 you can have a way to scan your engine, see what the issue is, and even clear codes.
Second, if you scan it and leave the light on, you won’t know if something else pops up.
Thirdly, often it’s something easy. A tube in the engine air circuit had come loose when I checked the filter last time, and my gas cap wasn’t screwed on all the way. Easy fix, on the fly, good to go!
