I remember when my dad was excited about giving this to me for my birthday. After Julie and I were married and got a new car, I’d moved out of my Chevette and given it back to Dad. When he was selling it, he found this map to Julie’s house under my front seat! It was from just before our first date and she’d been telling me how to get there. I’d written it down on this scrap of paper and it somehow survived in my car, hidden all those years. Laura lettered it up for him and I still enjoy it. I recently re-lettered it since it had faded.
I so vividly remember the first drive over and walking up to her house thinking this was gonna change things. We’d been friends for a long time… But now we were dating. Little did I know. I’m so happy she was willing to on a second date. It turned out well for both of us❤️
