A branch flipped into my rim and cut the vale stem right off… Luckily, I had a repair kit that included these molded rubber over steel "nails". I pounded one into the remaining part of the stem, refilled the tire with the other valve stem and we were back on our way. I'll see how long it holds before I replace the valve stem with a Colby external stem or change it out next time I have to unmount my tire.
