The iPhone has come a long way in being able to replace a "real" camera. Check out the detail in the top of the state building from almost a half mile away. I can even make out a bird circling the antenna. The left pic is what I took. The middle shows there I was standing when I snapped it, and the right shows using Google Maps to measure the distance.
