I've been trying to find a way to capture some of my off-roading, get the different viewpoints, not have to think about it too much while driving the trails, and able to edit it into something people are willing to watch.
So I've been trialing Live Multicam and Final Cut. It lets me start and stop all the cameras with one button, the clips stay synced, the cameras stay on and connected easily, and I can pick which view I want in post and don't have to work too hard to do Picture-in-Picture. I think I finally figured out enough how to make it work. It took me a while to edit the day 1 footage. You can see the complexity of the software. You have your preview, media, timeline, view angle, and jog wheel all at your fingertips! Hopefully, I made it work good enough…?!
