I found this glass tray for sale at the Antique Village. It's a silk screen of the bank where I was a janitor in high school. I was 15 and started at $3.25 an hour, minimum wage back then. It brings back a lot of memories. It was a decent job for a high school kid because you could work whenever you wanted each night as long as you were done by the time it opened the next morning. I remember my dad taking me to work most nights. I would walk up to Gem City (now Boston Stoker) and clean that one too. I always tried to make it past Bill's Donuts without stopping in (but never did…). Several years ago, I had lunch with my old boss from back then too.
