My Jeep came with mud tires. They're noisy on the road, but sure grip the terrain off-road. Pretty mean looking too. The pattern on the side helps get you up out of muddy ruts, and the wide open tread means the mud cleans out easily when the tires are rotating. That keeps your traction higher.
Also, I swapped the lugnuts with my old Jeep and like this look a lot better. The others were a spline design that just didn't look right.
