We stopped at the Paia point beach. We were blown to bits by the wind! However, it was sure pretty to see the waves breaking on the rocks! We made our way over to the sandy area where some of the cliffs protected the cove a bit and enjoyed watching the various forms of surfing (kite, wind, and sail boarding) that were taking place.
