It turns out, she had a few screws loose…! Haha.
She had the surgery to remove the hardware from her right back leg yesterday. She came through fine. They found a couple areas that might have been bothering her. There were two things that could have been a source of irritation. First, the pin in the femur was a little loose, so it was able to move around just a little bit. Also, the plates and screws down by the knee didn’t have much tissue covering it over, so it’s possible that the skin rubbing against it was irritating. All those parts are out now, and she is doing well. She stayed the night and hopefully will come home this morning. Thanks for the prayers!!
