Mud and snow!

We woke up to a nice little covering a week ago Monday. Looks like I got home just in time 🤪

2025-11-07 10th Annual Meet and Great Ride Hollerwood Little Widowmaker Day 1 Jeep Off-roading

 I had fun at the meet and great ride.

It was two really good days of riding this year.  Glad I went again.  It’s hard to compress a whole day into something you might be willing to watch… 🤪 Holiday hill is in day 2 starting about 4:30 in for a couple mins.  Day 1 has a waterfall (up and down) plus little widow maker.  Little widow maker is at 11mins or so in.  Waterfall down at 7 or so, back up at 19:30.

Winter camping season has officially begun…

 If you watch closely you will see it was starting to flurry as I pulled into the house from my weekend of camping a week or so ago… 

Zoe just being cute as always…

It's fun how many people come up and exclaim over Zoe's cuteness and sweetness.  Many times, people are coming up to me on the second day of a trip and asking me where she is so they can pet her.  I often find her with someone who's sitting on the ground with her in their lap!  Might be 3 or 4 teenage girls, but is just as likely to be some 65 year old dude too, hahaha.  She's cute and nice and she milks it for all it's worth!

 I decided to show you day two first.  If you want to go straight to the crazy stuff, start at 4:30 or so and watch for a couple mins.  Otherwise, relax for 17 mins and enjoy the whole thing.

Being a little more rare, and making the obstacles harder to judge, night rides are always fun.

The crazy thing is I was only in the middle of the groups.  They called it medium hard.  You could still go for hard and extreme…!

Maybe you've gotten bored looking at me looking at them? Hahaha.  I hope not.  

Time to head back down Holiday Hill

This gives a better perspective for what it looked like.  Somehow I got in front of the guy I was behind.  Anyhow, I took the opportunity to jump out after I'd come down the most of it to grab this pic of the folks behind me coming down.

I love the views over the valleys

It's a nice reward for making the trip and navigating our way to the top.  Especially when there's a little splash of fall color :)

On day two, we enjoyed Holiday Hill!

It's probably a good thing the cameras don't do it justice… We all had a blast figuring out how to make the climb successfully.  This was the guy that went up right before me.
