Twenty years…

This is what taking your kids to Lakeside for twenty years gets you.  We just HAD to get a picture in front of the old cottage.  :)

I just couldn't resist taking a shot of the patterns and colors surrounding these lights on my evening walk. Thus, day five is ended.

What better way to end the day, than a stroll through the park?!

I can't believe I haven't tried to capture this version of a Lakeside sunset before now!  Crazy thing is I was just using my phone and hand holding it while I walked down the sidewalk…!

A walk down Walnut Street

I remember so many walk down this sidewalk with my dad, my sisters, my mom.  We were on the way to swimming lessons, The Patio, the program, the dock… So much has changed yet so much has stayed the same. 

If you're lucky, I'll be done posting Lakeside pictures by this time next week. Haha. I hope you're not getting tired of them yet, I'm not!

We made it back for the sunset, ice cream, and a walk on the dock!

This is a simple, yet iconic and beautiful sunset.  I'm quite happy with the way I captured it.  You can just barely start to see the rays emanating from the sun as it sinks beyond the horizon.  I love the beauty of God's work.

We took a ride up to the tip top of it and relaxed on the shore for a while.  The picture was their idea.  I made some comment along the way about me taking pictures all the time.  They replied something like, "Dad, we're at the age now where we like getting our picture taken!" Good to know, haha!

An old mansion for $1.2M…

Here's your chance to own a piece of an island…. This house is for sale on South Bass Island.  My picture makes it look in better shape than it is.  It needs some work.  

We all went to Put-In-Bay

We even had the chance to go to the top of Perry's Monument.  It has been closed every other time we've been over there for either construction or social distancing.  It was quite the view and I enjoyed getting this shot of my whole crew. :)

Bug on a rock!

This little guy landed on Julie's ring while we were eating breakfast at Lakeside one morning. Cute little green guy.

You can see we had a fun night of games with all of us.

I wouldn't say it got out of hand per se… But there was lots of laughter! Good times.

 For some reason this just makes me laugh.  I want to watch it on infinite repeat… haha.

The place we stayed in at Lakeside.

The only rain we had all week was only an hour.  This was taken just after. :) I always like the colors just after a good rain.
