You guessed it, another view of the tower bridge!

I was just as obsessed with photography twenty years ago as I am now, I guess.  I do think this particular shot showed the colors of the bridge and tower the best.

My grandmother traced our lineage back to William the Conquerer…

Whether or not that's actually true, I found the history of this piece of wall to be interesting!  Built in the second or third century!  Think of the history and changes that have gone by.  Think of all the people that have walked by…

Julie and I caught fireworks at the last minute last night.

We decided to drive down after I got back from the rodeo. The fire station area is a nice place to park for them. Arrived at 10:01. Home by 10:30. :)

Even better, I shot this just hand holding Julie's iPhone.

Julie’s made our rock garden look quite nice.

Last year, she transplanted some ornamental grass that her sister wanted to get rid of.  It's taken off nicely and mostly keeping the weeds at bay. :)

Julie found another queen ant.

We don't think she's mated, but cool to see anyhow.

London Bobby!

I thought about trying to get him to laugh, but decided against it… ;)

I managed to sneak in a tour of London Tower on my trip

They call it the Tower Bridge, because crossing it gives you access to the London Tower.  Oddly, the London Tower was more like a fort than a tower. ;)

A rousing game of mallow ball!

Even my mom joined in.  We got together to celebrate Christopher's birthday last night.  It's always fun.  Susan put together a great meal, we had lots of laughter, relived old memories and made some new ones.  #FamilyFun.

Zoe is learning that she likes the pond!

She and I took the opportunity to cool off after a hard day of work around the yard.

Next I’m off to see the London Tower

I liked the contrast of the buildings from the 1200's and the 2000's in this shot.

It's beautiful old architecture was great to take in and capture.

Just a cute little nook

In a downtown Dayton coffee shop.

You can’t take someone like this seriously…!

She's had that blue chew toy bone since the day we got her, but only this past week has she decided to even notice it, silly Zoe!

Authentic London fish and chips!

I sat in the shadow of the London bridge and enjoyed this plate of food immensely! It's traditional that fish and chips includes peas too. :)

THIS is the London Bridge.

Not nearly as exciting and cool as the Tower Bridge.  I can see why they're easily confused.  Anyhow, I heard there is a great fish and chips spot UNDER the London Bridge so let's head there next!
