The winds took their tolls on our locust trees this year. Most of one fell down, most of a second was damaged enough it was about to fall on the power lines, and a third was only half a tree (from a storm several years ago) and was split and leaning further and further in the direction we park our cars sometimes. It was time for them to go. Now, we're starting over with a ten foot locust that's about ten years old, a six foot one from a few years back, and a couple new trees from this year… A really expensive week, but we didn't really have any choice…. They were way too big and precarious to try ourselves. Miguel to the rescue!
