We got to visits some graves of our relatives during our trip to Michigan. This was my great great great grandfather. Charles Butler. He was the captain of the first canal boat that came down the Erie Canal. He and his wife both lived to their nineties back in the very late 1800's!
The next night, we spent the night at some relatives and I found out that I was sleeping in Capt Butler's bed! It's cool and interesting to be able to connect the history. What an amazing opportunity and trip we're on. So thankful and blessed by my mom and family❣️
