She wanted a way to protect the grills from splatter while still being able to cook. So she came up with the idea of making some modular stainless steel plates. She found a place on-line, and I helped by getting the specs put in and approving the drawings they generated. It turned out perfectly! As a bonus, it looks great, and can close up to make an additional work surface when she's not using it. There's a 4th panel that replaces the two middle ones when the middle burner isn't in use. Genius!
