My sister called and said she'd been stranded by an overheating car. I was able to take my lunch break, grab a few tools, and head her way. It turns out, all the antifreeze had leaked out of a loose hose clamp, one of those string loaded type. So I replaced it with a screw down one, and re-filled the radiator. That seemed to do the trick. She felt loved and I felt like a knight in shiny armor. It's always nice to be able to help each other out.
In the process, I found this unrelated washer/bushing laying on the engine. It was the only picture I captured of the day's events, so I decided it would suffice.
