Andy's competition kendama suddenly broke at the base cup so he was forced to go find a new one. Nice thing about this hobby is that only sets you back $50 or so. Trouble is, pros want them broken in really well so they land tricks and stick nicely. So off he went to give it a good ole beat down. Here's the new tama and spike after less than one day of hard use by Andy. That includes a lot of play, plus some intentional use of the sidewalk and a quarter to make the bevel a little "nicer". If a thing stands up to Andy's use for work or play, You know for sure it's rugged!
