It's nice to hear what's going on around you on the police scanner (yes, it IS legal in Ohio and most other states!). Just don't use that information to decide to turn in the median to avoid a traffic standstill. The OSP will get you and hearing your OL come back over the radio isn't all it's cracked up to be! Arg. $90. Oh well, lesson learned!
