Back in modern day, we’re having space flavored Coke…!

I'm not really sure what flavor it was.  Maybe Red Cream Strawberry Cola…?  It was pretty good, and different as well.

We experienced the instant and full love of having children❣️

And this face sure helped! What a cute little thing Andy was/is!

Back to some RetroBlogging and meeting Andy.

I like this picture of Steve meeting Andy for the first time.  Andy, Julie and his Grampy were all three kindred spirits for sure!

It was fun to see what each of Andy, Isaac and me could capture.

These guys are the crazy ones!

Isaac got this shot too.  It shows how the bull fighters keep just the right distance all the time…

We also got to see the cool backdrop at the PBR rodeo.

This is one of my favorite shots I got of the night.

It was fun to get out my "real" camera and put it through it's paces.  It was up to the task of lower lightning and fast action.

You could tell the stakes and skill were higher.

Compared to a Friday night in Waynesville, the bulls were harder to ride, the riders were at a higher skill level and that made for a pretty exciting night.  But there is still something about the small-town atmosphere and the cozy setting that make the Waynesville rodeo just as fun or even more. ;)

Now you get a couple days of the rodeo!

Isaac bought some tickets so off we went.  The professional bull riders tour (PBR) was in town.  They put on quite a show including a light and fire filled intro! The best part was that they all took a knee, and with a packed Nutter Center arena, opened with a word of prayer for the riders, the country, and the world.  Pretty great to see them still willing to take a stand by taking a knee the RIGHT way. :)

Sunday night I was invited to join in the games across the street.

David and Andy are NOT to be trifled with in this regard!  It was fun to have pizza, play games, and laugh it up with the kids and their friends.

This was the start of my last trip down the ski slopes

It was the view to the east during a beautiful sunset.  What a great day of meetings, camaraderie  and fun.
