This reinforces the idea that you don’t lose things, you just misplace them...

I was doing some maintenance work on the lawn tractor and found this wedged between the seat and the hydraulic resivoir! I knew I lost it last spring, but assumed it was out in our woods in the dirt somewhere from when I forgot to close my pocket after digging out a knife for something while riding around on the tractor.

Crazy to think about how this fence post ended up inside this old tree stump...!

Most likely it was planted too close to the tree and the tree grew right around it! Imagine the surprise of the guy cutting it down with a chain saw...! Luckily it was a couple houses down the street and not me! Haha.
