I just got back from a trip to the Boston area and back this week.
On the way out Tuesday, I stopped along the Erie Canal and rode my bike for 30 minutes or so. You can see the canal walkway for the horses carved into the bank along the opposite side of the water. The bike path used to be a rail line that followed the water. Interesting history and beautiful area.
