Making sure all the machines are ready to go for the season this year

 Zoe was hanging with me while I was working on the mowers this past weekend.

They just kind of happened… The shackles shipped with a tow strap I bought, then I had a choice of black or orange for the hitch skid… Then my garage decided my differ covers needed to match when I had the gears redone… My Jeep is taking on a design of its own. ;)

I finally sold my old dead engine.

This past weekend, a guy needed a good crank and decided this would work.  He drove almost two hours from Indiana.  Between FB Market Place and having them at the street, I have managed to sell almost all my various upgraded pieces and parts.  Only the spare upper door halves and the old radio remain.  I don't expect anyone will want the radio.  I get a lot of people interested in the doors though.  

I found a good truck for Emily to buy.

 She says it looks nearly brand new…! Just exactly the type, koind, and conditions she wants, lol.

Well, I made it to my 500 break-in miles…

I needed 500 easy road miles to properly wear in the new gears and get the engine a chance to get used to its new life.  It's been exploring the back country roads around our place with the nicer weather we've been having.  I drop it back off for the 500 mile check today.  If everything looks good, I can start giving it some trail shake downs.

About as clean as my Jeep gets…

I just drive it in the rain and the tires take care of knocking of most of the mud they previously put on it. :) Or at least good enough for me.

We get together for his birthday and mine.  Each are six months apart so that lets us keep in touch at just the right interval.  He's invited me to stomp around his farm and creek.  We're taking bets on which one of us has to pull the other out…
