My racing drone build, all buttoned up and ready to fly...
I took it out yesterday and ran through two batteries. Wow, 30% throttle and I was already a little frightened! This thing can scoot! So far, mostly line of sight flying just to get the feel for it. Crazy!
Isaac’s editing handiwork, again!
I've never been one for "edits", but he and Emily are making me realize they can be pretty cool! This one is particularly good.

I’ve been working on a little electronics project, over the break.
You can see the stages below. Looking left to right and top to bottomL
1. Frame, motors, and power
2. Camera and video transmitter
3. Flight control board and remote control receiver
4. Starting to button it all up
Fun little project!

Julie finally made a good heart!
She usually makes them kind of lopsided. It's her trademark. So, imagine our surprise at this one!? I had to save it for posterity. Haha.
I sure enjoyed the time off, with me family. Lots of fun, smiles, and activities. Back to work today. But I'm refreshed and ready to go.
I pray I can trust God to get us through the year, and be a good testimony, for him, throughout.

Swinging target!
This is called a Texas star. Julie got me one for Christmas. Once you shoot the first one, it starts oscillating and changes as you drop each plate. It came in a lot of pieces, but it was worth putting together. It is a lot of fun. I am enjoying my "some assembly required" presents from this year!
You can see a video of how it works, here: https://youtu.be/SmqKHGyPI3o
Fireplace and sunlight
We had a fire in the fireplace. We left the flue open and went to bed. When we woke up, I noticed the sun shining in. Made for a cool picture in the darkened room.
Leaving Julie’s childhood home, around Christmas time.
Reminds me of all the times we left there, late at night, after euchre or some other game or when picking up the kids after a date.
So happy with my calculator!
I gave this to my father in-law quite a few years back. He loved it! If you have never learned/used RPN, you should!
Anyhow, now I've inherited it back. My mother in-law gave it to me as part of my Christmas gifts. It will come in handy and bring back good memories.
