But I still managed to get some good pictures. The snow builds up on the windward side of the trees, then the weight bends them over towards the wind. It's surprising that your brain feels the wind blowing on direction, the trees leaning the opposite direction, and it kind of messes with your perception. It was a cold day to take pics. About 25º with a stiff wind with chills down into the low teens. It was a test of my winter clothes, gloves and equipment for sure. Layers are key, especially when trying to hike around at the same time! :)
