Andy and I have been getting in a few nights of pool each week.

Johnny got to celebrate the Fourth with Savannah’s family.
Their version of fireworks involves cracking off rounds from their collection of both long and short rods of iron. Things that go boom are usually involved as well!
It was quite a toasty day and he even got a nice bump on the head to show for his efforts! Haha.

She's been doing great and up to walking 30 mins and almost two miles at a time. You can tell that it still bothers her sometimes though. She favors it around the house, and she's still on meds or it gets worse and that's not a good long term solution. So Tuesday she gets to have another surgery to have the hardware taken out of the leg that's still bothering her. They're hoping that gets her to the final healing, but it's not a sure thing. So keep praying. ❤️

My favorite part is when they release the fearless dogs!
These Australian Blue Heelers dive right in and nip at the bull's heals to convince them it's time to quit bucking and just head back into their chutes. Here you can see one reaching into the chomp a rear leg.
I thought this shot represented the rodeo well.
Just good clean down home fun and Americana. An American cowgirl. Oh yeah, and don't forget the intermission when everyone is invited to jump in the ring and line dance for a few songs.

I got to go to the rodeo while I was on vacation. I took my camera along to see how it would do. So that means you get a few days of nothing buys rodeo. This was a Fourth of July special, so they had an extra nice opening program.

I went on a nice walk in Waynesville with Laura
I had a week off at the beginning of July for our summer shutdown and made sure to enjoy it by relaxing and also seeking out new adventures. This is a park and dog park put together so Zoe got to enjoy it along with us.

The boys and I used to go up there for lunch on Saturdays. This time it was breakfast! They used to serve pancakes, I think it was all you can eat, on Saturday mornings most weeks.

There was a murder in our back yard a couple weeks ago.
This crow gang has taken to hanging out quite often. I am thinking about trying to lure them closer and trying to convince them to be my friends…?
We had a lot of this in Brazil.

I got to have breakfast with Andy and Hannah over our Fourth of July holiday shutdown.
They both bring a smile to my face and heart all the time!
It was time to come home from Brazil.
Back in the day, I used to fly a lot of Delta. This was through Atlanta if I remember right. It was fun to try and get a good view of the planes in flight while waiting for mine. Haha.
