It crashed into the living room picture window so hard it scared the cats sleeping in the family room. It was just sitting there under the window, dazed, waiting for a cat or something to come eat it.
So I took a pic, scooped him up (all the while his mate was calling to him) and put him in a critter cage on the back porch to see if he would recover or what was wrong.
A half hour later he seemed to have shaken it off so Julie let him out and off he flew. :)
In the process I got a cool pic, got to hold a cool bird, saw his cool tongue, and did a good deed for the day.
