A quick break with warm coffee on the trails :)

We had to settle for pictures of Zoe on this trip, but Andy loved seeing them pop up on my phone❣️🐶

Perfect weather and views this past weekend!

Friday started out with a bit of drizzle and mud but QUICKLY turned into a perfect day with wonderful colors!

360º of Jeeps!

Another great shot from Andy.  He stood on my fender and managed to capture Brutus along with some of the other 380 Jeeps that showed up to ride for the weekend!  Noticed you can see the green jeep from both sides of the frame.

Heading back to my Jeep

Another perspective from Andy.  There were at least 15 groups lined up to start the rides on the various trails at various difficulty levels.  Quite the crowd!

Andy following me around with breakfast hahahaha

I knew the breakfast offered by the fire department would be worth having!  It was nice to have it available after we got in line and got all prepped for a day on the trails!  I love this shot from Andy's perspective as he tailed along with me the first two days.  That would change for the second half of the trip… ;)

The lineup on day one.

380 Jeeps showed up to ride!

Killer kitchen in our cabin!

We shared it with a bunch of other folks.  It had at least 10 bedrooms that each slept two people!

You know it’s gonna be a good weekend when…

…you already have this much dust and dirt on you just getting there!

We finally arrived at our cabin for the weekend

It was late Thursday evening, and we had a couple delays (map issues, state troopers…).  It just made us happier that we made it! :)

Andy and I headed out for an adventure this past weekend

Just a random church along the way while we stopped for gas.

Probably not a good idea to fan such a tiny revolver…

Johnny and me practicing for revolver night ❤️

Cabbage anyone?

Just some pretty plant colors outside the community center where my mom lives.

One of their favorite things.

My mom's friend's tiny nativity carving compared to my fingerprint…!

Seeing a few of their favorite things

My mom invited me to see their display put out by her neighbors her.  They put out "a few of their favorite things" complete with a little booklet describing why they were special.  I even got a guided tour of each table!  Here she is with her bells and lady bugs❣️

Happy Halloween from -May-May…

She was treating John with this creepy Oct 31st pose when he got home from work 👻

It’s fun to see the before and after of my Jeep build

It seems I have it fixed up to beast mode nicely enough. Really happy with how it’s running and climbing :)

Quite the spooky night at league this past week…

It was all stuff Jeff had saved up over the years.  We didn't know it was there until we were cleaning out the vacant end of the building a while back.  The "cobwebs" kept grabbing the range officers while we worked the course of fire.

My favorite duck is…

…the army man my club handed out to commemorate the WWII roots of Jeeps.

Mind your own beeswax

I saved the beeswax from my festival honeycomb then refined out the impurities to get a decently nice little lump of it.  I have always loved the smell of it.  Now I can take a hit any time I want, hahaha.

Walking back to Brutus

After scouting the clearances on the trail ahead.

We made a side trip to a compound near our house.

Brixland or something like that it’s called.  They sure had some pretty colors!

I always wanted to see this…

The old gravel quarry first hand.  I have always wanted to explore that area since I was a little kid.  I randomly stumbled on a trail into the area and decided to give it a try last weekend.  It sure was peaceful and pretty!

A buck in Lytle

Zoe and I got to see this guy on the way home from our exploring.

“I wonder where THAT goes?!”

Of course I had to find out and had already done so earlier in the day.  It's a huge vacant, mowed meadow owned by the city.  It was fun to explore a place nearby that most people can't get to. ;)

All done exploring

We were loading up and heading home.  It was fun to try a new spot.  Springboro has some really nice parks!

Zoe earning her own off-road badges!

Check out the burrs on her harness.  She's a fun little companion on our adventures and doesn't complain at all.  She's loves seeing ANYONE that will pet her!

Zoe makes a good “sled” dog

She adds just enough energy to our rides that I have an easier job, hahaha.

On the right you can see the route we took.  Forty mins on the way out with all the exploring and ten minutes to get back to the Jeep by just hitting the bike path back.

Exploring

You never know where you'll end up.  We followed a couple paths until we ended up riding along the sound wall on I-75 for a bit. The sun is just starting to get lower in the sky and peaking through the trees in the upper right.

Efforts rewarded!

Zoe and I thought it was worth the effort on the trails and creek crossings to get to enjoy the fall colors and views like this along the way last weekend!
