This is a crazy little cat...

She has taken to scaling me to sit on my shoulder... She just runs right up my side and plops there.

If the boys are gone, the cats will snuggle us instead.

You may know, I am a “watch guy”...

Cognex knows how to cater to that. This is three years in the making. I am actually about to finish my fourth year in March. Crazy how time flies. Hard to believe I am starting on my fifth year shortly.

Anyhow, it's nice how my company shows their appreciation for all the hard work. Many companies give you a watch after 25 years. Cognex does after 3. Is that because they love us, or because it seems like 25 years of work already?! ;)

Sometimes it's nice to have a simple watch that DOESN'T tell me about everything that's going on in the world.

Julie’s friend Jules knitted this prayer shawl for my mother in-law Janice.

Please pray for Jules. She is in her mid twenties and also facing a fatal disease. She is a strong Christian and has been an encouragement to all of us. She could use some encouragement of her own as she faces decisions of difficult treatment vs. difficult symptoms.

Only at my house...

Andy and I were carrying out an old couch. Andy wondered who could throw a couch cushion the furthest... His technically went further, but I alleged mine WOULD have gone further had the tree not stopped it!

Several coats of polyurethane and it’s all ready to go.

I like the way it brings out the grain and protects it from all the spills I will give it. ;)

Julie does a great job on the finish work.
