Random building art in the Gem City, Downtown Dayton

Isaac and his long exposure pictures...!

I love the hue this brought out...

The boys and I hanging out at the Hauer acoustic room

Just trying a few instruments after Andy's violin lessons. Johnny has been considering various acoustic bass options. I didn't even know such a thing existed. ;)

Random Waynesville farm and field

Some of Johnny’s random computer graphic doodling while learning what the tools to

A family favorite treat, compliments of my work! :)

Our whole district met our stretch forecast goal for March, so my manager told us to go buy our family an ice cream treat. This is one I discovered in Columbus a couple years ago. I can only afford it about once a year, or when someone else is buying... ;)

I was just playing around with different subjects and really liked the way this brick turned out.

The texture is impressive.  I have always liked photography on rainy days.  The colors are reproduced so much better.

Evening descends

Seeing how dark it can be and still get a good picture...  Just at the end of the blue hour, here.

I really like this picture Emily setup and captured!!!

So simple yet so cool! It looks to me like the crayons are racing using the colored jet engines. ;)

Out for a little “boating”...

All the photography around me has been giving me the itch to get my own “real” camera again...

I won another contest at work and had some prize money burning a hole in my pocket. So, after a lot of research, I found a great option that gives me all the lens, sensor, and settings capabilities I could want at a price I could afford.

From the looks of things, I didn't do too bad. I shot this picture of the moon while free standing and hand holding my new camera. It practically takes pictures in the dark!

Johnny opening his college acceptance letter.

He's even wearing the hoodie (and design on the back) that he used as part of his portfolio presentation. Funny thing, he is also wearing the "Your getting on my nerds" shirt that Andy designed.

Houston, we may have a problem…?

It's hysterical when she does this…

Say what!?

My geek friends will appreciate this...!

On my phone...!

Big new in our house, this week...!

Johnny's been accepted to his top pick. Now he'll be busy figuring out how to pay for it...!

In other news, he also finished his training for waiting tables, at work. He's official now. ;)

I was enrolled in this school first

Some of my early childhood memories are enrolling to Waynesville. At the last minute, we found out about Ridgeville.

Waynesville School has grown quite a lot, since then...! Maybe I should go get some shots of Ridgeville?

Johnny and I recently visited this college for his application, interview and portfolio...

I’ve been wanting to fly around Caesar’s creek for quite a while.

My dad would have loved to see these two areial views. I remember exploring the area as they created the lake, and all the fun of fishing, boating and swimming over the years.

Isaac’s vertical pano, right off his iPhone!

Hanging out in Waynesville, for a little photography, while Johnny and Joslyn wander.

Enjoy a little of my look around Caesar’s Creek, yesterday

Good morning y’all

Yesterday was such a beautiful day. Started and ended so nicely. Looking forward to spring getting rolling in full force.

This perfectly captures the magic of Lakeside, Ohio. It’s timeless

I instantly recognized both of these spots, even though they were taken over a hundred years ago! Even more surprising, the kids did too.

I think I can even make out the master bedroom window of our old cottage, in the bottom picture. Just over the porch roof of the second house you can see.

Seems like Laura has a great eye for photography too...

This is what she saw as she woke up in her hammock, this weekend.

50° and sunny ☀️, I’ll take it!

It pays to know people!

Who knew you could eat homemade chili at Subway!

Their new lemonade flavors are good too!

All in a day’s work.

Even on a gloomy day, Lake St. Marys is pretty.

Cognex always has fun with their annual report.

This year they made the front page of the "USA Today"...

I like the way the sunset and the lights inside work together in this shot

I like seeing the lights on and thinking about what each of my fam is up to. :)

I love the combo of the pond, pines, and ponies, on the property behind us.

I managed to get in a little flying time, this weekend.

Isaac has a good combination of skill and eye for photography.

We're blessed with so much creative talent in our family. Help us be able to appreciate and capture God's beauty.

A peaceful scene

Hard to tell if it’s the barn or the windmill, on fire... ;)

Whoa! New Fav

Even the winter views can be pretty

I miss my dads, though. The pond makes me reflect on both of their lives. Sad that time moves on, without them...

Lunch after church

I kind of like this picture Andy took of me.

Moon in the middle of the day

Some beautiful weather this weekend. Glad I got out and enjoyed some of it!

I just liked the combo of colors and this lamp...

We finally had a couple nice days for flying, this weekend.

Johnny and college!?

Johnny has his first college application interview and portfolio review today. He has worked hard on putting together his portfolio. This is the pièce de résistance. He created the design to tell a little bit about himself, then worked with his girlfriend's family to bring it to reality on a signature hoodie.

Prayers for guidance, wisdom and favor are appreciated. ;)

Sold?! A Beautiful day to help a friend move.

Lee came back into town to get the last few things out of his house. He has a contract and everything but the final paperwork is done. I met him in college. Algebra 2. Winter/January of '89, or so.

Another Isaac/Uncle David colab...

I'm driving, he's got his tripod setup on my armrest. Pretty cool effect!
