Wow, was it ever hot from this vantage point. You are looking at a 10 foot wide, one foot thick slab of steel being made... I couldn't stand here for more than a few minutes before I had to move and couldn't hold onto my camera any longer. The bridge over the steel is using torches which clamp onto the slab and ride along with it to cut the piece to length. Our gauges are on this line measuring the length and line speed.
