Another crop of storms moved through last night.

Mostly just lightning and rain, this time.

A cool plant we saw on our Staycation trip to Jungle Jim’s. Pitcher plant. It catches bugs in the “pitchers”

It's carnivorous, kind of like a Venus Fly Trap... Pretty cool!

The fun of a car full of teenage cousins singing on the way home from a ball game... ;)

I added some photos to my album

Laura, Emily, Christopher and I flew and walked Laura's street to see what it looked like on day two, after the storm.  Soooo many patched roofs!

If you already looked at my previous album, you can pick up where you left off using this link:

Andy and I jamming in the parking lot waiting for Johnny to get finished at work.

I actually won a game of KEN, but only by forcing Andy to use his left hand... But that's an improvement on my part. He used to beat me then, too...!

I loved the various angles of the old metal roofs.

Points if anyone in my family can identify where this photo was taken... ;)

I had a few left over water bottles. Of course Andy makes a competition out of how many he can carry...! ;)

Julie’s been experimenting with “different” recipes... Here she’s made us dandelion root coffee substitute.

The first sip was surprisingly strong and earthy, but it kind of grew on me after that.  It was apparently popular in the Civil war era.  They would use this when they ran short on coffee and still wanted that sharp, warm cup of comfort in the morning.  It was a lot of work for a couple cups!

You can see the history and recipe here:

Feeling fortunate tonight. No major damage and no injuries in my family.

You can see my quick pics here. Only ~1,500 feet from the home of my sis!

Eerie...!

Luckily it went north of us. 1,000 feet north of my sister...! Yikes. Glad we're all safe.

The noise is the thunder rumbling off in the distance, not wind noise. Epic storms last night...

Pretty nasty looking on my radar app. Glad we has some warning.

Nature’s fury last night... Luckily we could just watch from a distance.

The worst went very close to my sister's house. They are all ok, but lots of limbs down and a hole in their roof. Glad they are ok! Heading over to help with cleanup.

We got to see a sample of all of Isaac’s various choirs.

They put on several great shows.  You can get a feel for it if you want to follow the link below:

Pepper was hanging out on my shoulder.

I was trying to get ready in the morning, but she had other ideas.

Johnny, Andy, Isaac and I got to see the Drago’s game!

They gave us great seats, they all got to high-five Heater and Isaac even got a selfi!

We really enjoyed Cirque du Soleil Corteo!

I'm having a hard time picking a favorite, I took too many pics, but you can see them here, if you want.  Just click the link below:

I am happy I could freeze the action in this low light setting!  The set and acts were so beautiful.  Fun to capture!

Andy’s video game matches his shirt...

Nice way to spend the evening. Chillin' on the back porch.

Andy is so serious...

Opposing forces...!

Bird in a bush!

Julie made use of the sauce Andy brought home from work!

They stopped carrying sesame ginger glaze, so they were going to throw away their remaining stock. His boss asked him if he wanted it. He figured Julie could come up with some food use for it. Well, he was right. She tossed her chicken wings in it. YUM! It was a hit and we still have several bags. We will be having that AGAIN!

Just like kids, they look so innocent when asleep...

Isaac getting creative with his iPhone camera.

Start by using your phone upside down. :)

We were all mugging for the camera in different ways...

Fun times at the Dragon games!

I like the patchwork of fields and properties.

We call him Big Red

He seems to have taken over where Cluck Norris left off. King of our domain.

He's a prefect representation of what a country rooster should be!

The recent full moon...

Perfect seats too!

Perfect night for it!

Siri is all Greek to me…

Trust fall onto the zip line! My colleagues were impressed I could keep up with them.

Testing the limits

We enjoyed a Columbus canopy ZipLine tour last week.  It was a pretty good way to spend a half day of work.  Here, I am building trust in the harness system.

You can see all the fun and craziness if you follow the link below:

I just thought this was a cool view of part of the Columbus skyline.

For some reason, the grooved pavement sign makes me laugh?

Emily found THIS on her tent during a recent backyard camping adventure!

This little person is floating all around, on helium balloons.

They even pushed her out all around the crowd, like a beach ball at a hockey game...!

The full moon was pretty last night
