My mom treated us to a show!

We all enjoyed The King and I, in her neighborhood. My high school and college friend's daughter was one of the stars (Ms. Anna).

They did a nice rendition. Ken Kettering has been directing them since back when I was in high school! They do a good job.

Historical site. Makes a nice photographic subject.

It's neat to see the history of the Legacy campus site. I used to play soccer there when it was still an orphanage.

A beautiful, full moon, last night.

I tried something new yesterday...

Roast caterpillar 🐛 is really pretty good, but super spicy! 🌶 ;)

A nice looking couple.

My nephew cleans up pretty well, but it takes a LOT of water....! ;)

Repairing battle wounds.

That's gonna leave a mark... You can see where the cup cracked, near the bottom half of the clamp jaws. Andy traced it with a marker, so he can show it off, later. I like where he stored the tama (ball) on the clamp trigger. Haha.

Andy found the top line, written on the white board, when he walked into the AWANA office...

This was someone who knows exactly what would drive him crazy! All the clues are him trying to figure it out. By the end of the evening, he did. Haha.

Julie, Johnny and I got a chance to tour this full-scale model of the Hebrew Sanctuary/Tabernacle

It's in Centerville through 4/29. Worth the 45 mins or so. Johnny thought it was really neat to be able to visualize the whole atonement process.

I sneaked up on Johnny during his walk.

Once I was spotted, he smiled and waved. Haha.
I was droning on and on! ;)

Andy is learning the violin.

Hauer has a long history, in the region. It was where I got my first instruments, as a child.

Progress at our neighbor’s house. I like the tin roof.

They think they have about a month to go.

It was a warm weekend. ;)

Every man likes a little fire! Good thing, we needed it to keep warm, from the snow, yesterday...

I remember doing this exact thing when I was about this age! :)

Andy was having fun experimenting with my dad's old block and tackle.

We got rid of last year’s brush

Yeah, that’s my wife and son looking for frogs and toads

They spent hours finding, naming, watching and exploring. It's fun to hear all the different calls they make. They all come out at different times. First the toads, then the frogs, and lastly the tree frogs. Made for quite a chorus.

The evolution of math, according to Andy

If in doubt, you can always ask Siri... ;)

Julie’s new critters

Wade-the Betta, a moss ball and a couple of dwarf lobsters and home for all. Thanks to my mom for the perfect gift, a night out for dinner, complete with a little shopping.

Awwww, Percy is just waiting for his boy to come back...

It’s always fun to celebrate Isaac’s birthday!

He's so full of life, laughter, love & learning.

Larry managed to catch him, during some airtime, at the skate park.

Julie liked the flowers I brought home, this week.

Oriental lilly's are always favs of hers, including the Star Gazers from 25 years ago. :)

Half of a day in the life of David...

This is how the eval process looks when I'm proving out applications for my customers.

Getting it razor sharp is only half of the process.

Razor sharp is how you know you've finished step two of four.

I sharpened a bunch of knives last weekend. I think the total was eight.

Easter mood lighting?

It seemed everyone wanted to use blue lighting, for Easter, this year. It did give a cool effect for Good Friday services. This was at our friend's church.

Some more of Isaac’s experiments with his new camera.

He was trying long exposures and night photography here. Nice job.

Birthday parties across the street. :)

Julie made her famous corned beef and cabbage soup, for her mom's birthday. We had fun playing games afterwards.

The women stayed inside while the men and kids went out to play...

Larry, Christopher and I droned. The cousins all played four-square for hours. I managed to capture a picture of Christopher's racing drone with my drone.

The girls were watching Midwife... Every time I walked in someone was hollering, "get the midwife!" Haha. Glad I had something (anything) else to do. ;)

I think my mother in-law summed up the situation pretty well...! Haha.

Where were you during the great tornado of 2018?

Yikes!

Driving into the teeth of the beast…

...and this was the next morning (yesterday!

Even crazier, it's supposed to get to 70° today! I guess that explains all the thunderstorms we're having at the moment.

The kids all played four-square, and even six-square, for hours on Sunday!

Soaring with the birds again

Twenty five years, today!

I think Julie has decided to keep me! Or at least try me out for another twenty five... ;)

Susan made this awesome cake for us. She even hunted down flowers to match the ones from Julie's bouquet.

Funny thing, it unexpectedly snowed on the morning of our wedding day, too... Yesterday, Susan thought the forecast must surely be an April Fool's joke.

I love the little home we’ve built.

Julie and I are blessed to have each other. We both love our kids and the way they're turning out.

We're blessed with our extended family too. My sisters, parents, and in-laws have always been loving, supportive and fun. We're all able to look forward to, and enjoy, time together.

My mom made this weight to tie down a balloon, for our anniversary celebration. It was so cute, she let us keep it.
