We went out with some friends, for dinner and a movie. For some reason, Johnny wanted to get his own table... He brought gifts, a nice little hand-written note, and even paid for dinner. At least they picked a great place! We're both Waffle House families, I guess! A first "date"? A triple date?

We have a host of baby mantids. Andy's wild caught mantis laid a fertile egg. Yay, Natasha lives on. :)

Speeder and Barbara? We didn't know there were other manatee families...

The boys both have these adorable stuffed manatees. For some reason, they're just perfect. Andy got his, at the zoo, last summer. He named him Speeder (swims all day, eats nothing but lettuce, STILL fat!). Andy liked Speeder so much, he decided to buy Johnny one for Christmas. In fact, my trip down there is how Laura ended up with her red river hog. He just begged me to take him home to her from the moment I saw him.

So, now we have two manatee. Johnny named his Barbara (Veggie Tail reference). They enjoy many adventures here.

Imagine our surprise when we noticed this window sticker on a car in front of us...! Does that mean there are other manatee families out there? Friends for Speeder and Barbara? Stay tuned, maybe we will find out...!? :)
